Below you will find the downloads collection that has been put together over the development of this project. Please feel free to take whatever files you may find useful, but remember where they came from if you use any of these files in a published project.
Remove Content Sig Check from XBE
Mimesis Identity Package (Photoshop files)
Removing the sig check from the default.xbe:
When a content package is created for download each file in the content package is hashed and that hash signature is written to a file called contentmeta.xbx. When the package is downloaded from Live! the header of contentmeta.xbx recieves another hash generated from the combination of HDD serial, Title ID and all the signatures in the contentmeta.xbx, to make the signature unique to that xbox. If the files get changed after this process then you load Halo2, default.xbe will not load the content because the signature in the header of the xbx does not match one created on the fly for comparison (the default.xbe knows that the content was not downloaded on that xbox)
Apply this PPF to the default.xbe using RPPE (Red Pack Pro Editor) Get it here: RPPE Package
It requires the .net framework but once you have it installed simply put the ppf in a folder with the orig default.xbe then hilite both files. Drag them onto the RPPE app and you will get a newly patched default.xbe in return.
The reason for releasing this is so those who have a virgin box and can legally get the Updates and Downloadable Content from Bungie, can also use that content on thier modded xbox's. It is not my intent to allow for the piration of owned and copyrighted Bungie content.

Mimesis Identity Package
This rar file includes set of Photoshop files of the multiple objects that come together to make up the Mimesis visual identity. In the files you will find large versions of everything as well as being set on a transparent background for you. Check out the swatches file to make sure you are staying true to the colors chosen to represent the Mimesis project. I did not include the xbox font because it can be found in a ton of places already, just google it. I hope that this package helps people make some kool looking sigs or skins. Post your stuff in the forum for all to see! Below is a compilation preview of what you will find in this package.
